Almost intact fusiform unguentarium found in 1956 on the south slope of the Acropolis. The base is flat and the foot low. The tall, narrow neck ends in a downturned rim. The surface is grey and decorated with horizontal white bands.

Unguentaria were used for holding and transporting perfume oils as well as various other liquids and solids, such as honey, mastic and spices. Very often fusiform unguentaria were wrapped in wicker mesh that protected them from breaking and their lid was probably made of some perishable material, like wax or cork.
